Yes. Whenever a VGT actuator is detached from a turbo, it must be calibrated to that specific turbo for optimal performance and efficiency, as well as to prevent an active fault code.

Core Returns and Fees
A core charge is a refundable deposit for the old unit. We require the return of your old turbocharger or actuator so it can be remanufactured.
You may return your core using any shipping carrier of your choice. To ensure safe transit and avoid potential deductions from the core refund, please package the item securely to prevent damage. Once we receive and inspect the core, we will process your refund accordingly.
Core refunds are typically processed within 1-2 business day after we receive and inspect the returned unit. The refund itself may take between 5-7 business days if it is being returned to a credit or debit card.
If your core is excessively damaged or missing key components, you may receive a partial refund or no refund. Please refer to our Core Return Policy page for more details. We will notify you upon inspection.
Product Warranty & Returns
Yes, all of our products come with a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. However, there are certain conditions that may void a warranty. Please visit our Warranty and Returns policy for more details.
Our return policy lasts 30 days. All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. To be eligible for a return, your item must be uninstalled, unused, and in the same condition that you received it in.
